FAQ Herewith we are offering answers to most frequently asked questions in regard to BioDeposit® product application and this will help you to understand all the benefits BioDeposit® is offering. Please submit your question, if an answer is not below , we will be glad to answer. 1. How does BioDeposit Agro differ from the other organic products, manure, compost and peat? Sapropel the same as manure, compost and peat contains many biologically active substances and microelements. Sapropel differs with these substances being available for plants in natural form, balanced and has high levels of organic matter humification. Freshly extracted sapropel contains no weed seeds, while traditional forms of organic fertilizers such as poultry, pig and cattle dung (manure), as well as peat usually contain large number of weed seeds. Sapropel fertilizer does not have an adjustment period. Manure and other organic matter needs conducting long-term preparation (6-12 months) prior to applying to the soil. Humic acids of sapropel in contrast to peat humic acids have a higher nitrogen content (up to 7% versus 2-4% in peat humic acids) and hydrogen (up to 7% against 5,5-6%). Sapropel compared to other fertilizers has the highest content of nitrogen (n), facilitates its preservation and accumulation 2. How BioDeposit Agro is revitilizing soil? Healthy soil is like a large orgamism which is full of life. Upper fertile layer is loaded with living organisms and an organic humus, so it a mineral part of soil. A turnover of nutrients is taking place in it. More microorganisms in the soil more healthier it is. BioDeposit Agro consists of a variety of microorganism, organic micro and macro elements, humic acids, however largest concentration of humic acids is lodged in our BioDeposit Elixir. 3. Why our products so potent? Superb activity of our product is explained by the high concentration of the organic matter which contributes to growth of microorganisms present in soil, as well as humic acids, enhancing active growth of plants. 4. How BioDeposit Agro is helping to save on irrigation? BioDeposit Agro is highly hydroscopic medium. It is explained by the fact that peat and sapropel are quite capable of absorbing and retaining moisture , reaching up to 300% volume in relation to dry matter. 5. How your BioDeposit Agro is supressing nematodes? Scientific test were conducted by the certified laboratories are showing that fungi of saprophytic nematodoes present in our product has a supressing effect on phytopathogenic nematodes, thus reducing amount of nematodes in soil. 6. Is it possible to use BioDeposit Agro and Elixir separately? Best results are achieved while using BioDeposit Agro and BioDeposit Elixir jointly, because Agro is creating beneficial nutritional medium while Elixir is enhancing vitality and growth of your plants. 7. What is the difference between ELIXIR and humic acids which is sold from leonardite origin? BioDeposit Elixir if made from peat, it’s a living organics, but leonardite is produced from brown coal, which is petrified organics. That is why the peat humic substances are more active than the humic substances of leonardite. Besides the process of humic acid extraction from leonardite is a complicated chemical process, whilst the process of humic acid extraction from peat happens in a very sensitive to the material manner without applying high temperatures, high pressure or strong chemicals. 8. Does Elixir contain any additions like PGR or AA or anything added? BioDeposit Elixir contains no additives as its principle is based on the high activity of humic acid that activates the micro and macroelements fixation by plants by means of splitting motionless salts into light mobile forms. 9.Please indicate if we can use BioDeposit Agro in nurseries instead of Peatmoss, or we can use it only as organic matter to be mixed with soil as we do with compost? BioDeposit Agro is the alternative to peat substrats, because humic acids of sapropel in contrast to peat humic acids have a higher nitrogen content (up to 7% versus 2-4% in peat humic acids) and hydrogen (up to 7% against 5,5-6%). Sapropel compared to other fertilizers has the highest content of nitrogen (N), facilitates its preservation and accumulation. So, do not hesitate to use it in your greenhouses and nursery gardens but remember that BioDeposit Agro is a concentrated product, it is much more active than peat, so you have to mix Agro with soil before planting using a ratio 1:4.
